Happy Christmas!

And yet, it doesn't even feel like it. Is that something that just comes with getting older? I hope not. Anyways, I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

Christmas Time at the Age of Seven

Today I decided to read from the very first diary I ever kept. I started it 1994 - 10 days shy of my sixth birthday. I loved The Lion King at that age, so of course having Nala and Simba on the cover is not much of a surprise. I found this entry dated and written as such:

DATE: Day Dec-5-95
Dear Diary I like
December becose
it has Christmas. And
I like Christmas.

You get some presint's.
You better be good or
if your bad Santa
will not give you a
gife. Sata is the best. Do you know
Rodofe?

This entry simply amuses me. Christmas = Presents... Was I always that materialistic? [=
